MESSAGE FROM THE COMMITTEE
Dear
Fellow Panthers:
I
remember when I was 16 years old and my mother went to her 25
year high school reunion for Byrd High School in Shreveport,
LA. My sister and I laughed at how excited and nervous
she was - she did her hair and nails and got dressed to the
nines while we teased her about going out with the old fogies. When
she got home, she was absolutely glowing; to this day I
remember how happy she was.
Well
guys, we're the old fogies now! It seems impossible that 25
years have passed since 1985, but here we are. I sincerely hope
that as many of you as possible will make it back to the old
neighborhood to hang out with your old buddies, catch up on news
and remember old times.
In
order to make that possible for as many as we can, the Reunion
Committee decided to make keeping ticket prices down a top
priority. We made this decision based on feedback received by
Lance Potter and Denise Atkinson Hika and the former reunion
committees that said that ticket price was the main reason
people did not come or that they strongly considered not coming.
We chose to work with Reunions of Houston, as keeping cost
reasonable is one of their main company goals. Cost is also the
main reason for the venue choice of La Hacienda: because they
are not a hotel or a large corporation, their rates are far more
reasonable, their drink prices are lower, their food is
better, and they provide everything we need and want including a
larger facility than many we looked at. We also thought that for
many folks staying in the KOHS area would be more convenient.
I
want to thank the Reunion Committee and all of you who filled
out the survey and sent your suggestions and comments to us. The
Committee is working hard to provide a truly great event, and
while we know that we will never please everyone, we do hope to
make the reunion available and reasonable for as many Panthers

PAYMENT & REFUND POLICY
All payments
received
within the last 10 days from the Friday prior to
the reunion will be charged an additional $10 per ticket. There is a
$10 per ticket processing fee for all refunds. However, refund
requests must be received no later than 7
days prior to the reunion (Friday by 5:00 P.M. CST).
All pre-paid orders must be received by 5:00 P.M. CST the
Thursday prior to the reunion.
